Find practical answers about installing the Veysign player, keeping content available offline, scheduling updates, and managing screens across locations. The details below reflect the product’s current workflow and published plans.
Hardware, activation, offline behavior, and the difference between a native player and a kiosk browser.
No. Each screen downloads its assigned playlist and stores it locally, so playback continues if the connection drops. When the screen reconnects, it checks for changes and applies an update only after the new content has finished downloading and been verified. An interrupted sync does not replace the playlist that is already working.
Veysign supports Android 9 and newer on Android TV devices, common Android boxes, tablets, and compatible commercial displays. Hardware quality varies, so we maintain a tested-device approach instead of claiming that every Android device will behave the same. That gives teams a practical basis for choosing reliable screens and players.
The Veysign player is a native Android app rather than a browser tab. It is designed to recover predictably after restarts, handle memory pressure, and keep media available on the device. A kiosk browser can depend on a live page and connection; Veysign keeps the approved playlist local so a temporary network problem does not leave a blank screen.
After installing the Android player, the screen displays a 6-digit activation code. Enter that code in the Veysign dashboard to link the device to your account, then assign a playlist or location. The activation step itself takes under a minute, without manual provisioning or a visit from a specialist.
How teams prepare content, automate changes, organize locations, and monitor devices from the dashboard.
Upload image and video assets to the media library, arrange them into playlists, and publish the result to one or more screens. Typical content includes digital menus, product promotions, class schedules, lobby information, announcements, and branded loops. Preparing assets at the screen’s aspect ratio helps text and product images stay clear from a distance.
Yes. Schedule playlists for the times they should run, such as breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus or weekday and weekend promotions. Schedules can target an individual device, a screen group, or a location. Veysign resolves overlapping schedules by priority and specificity while respecting the location’s timezone and daylight-saving changes.
Yes. Organize screens by location, group devices that should share content, and schedule updates without signing in separately for every branch. A central team can keep brand-wide campaigns consistent while allowing the right local staff to manage location-specific information. Device status and the current assignment remain visible from the same dashboard.
Yes. The dashboard shows live device status along with information such as the last sync, current playlist, and storage use. That makes it easier to spot a screen that has gone offline and distinguish a connectivity issue from a content assignment that simply has not changed.
Role-based access, plan changes, payment transitions, and what to do when a network grows beyond the public plans.
Yes. Veysign includes organization roles from Owner through Viewer so a business can separate billing and administration from day-to-day content work. Teams can give regional managers or front-desk staff the access they need without making every person an account owner.
Existing signage keeps playing for a grace period while billing is retried. A transient payment problem does not immediately blank an active screen. The account owner can update payment details through the billing portal while already-downloaded content continues to play during the transition.
Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from the Billing page through the customer portal. Plan changes are handled in one place, and screens keep playing their downloaded content through the account transition. Check the pricing page first to compare screen and storage allowances; locations are unlimited on every plan.
The published Pro plan covers up to 50 screens, with unlimited locations and unlimited team members. If your rollout is larger or requires custom commercial terms, contact Veysign to discuss an Enterprise arrangement based on the actual number of screens and the way your team operates.
