Legal
Privacy Policy
Last updated July 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Veysign collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. This document is a starting template and should be reviewed by legal counsel before public launch.
1. Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and organization details you provide at registration.
- Content — media, playlists, schedules, and location/device names you upload to operate your screens.
- Billing information — handled by our payment processor; we store subscription status and billing email but not full card numbers.
- Device and usage data — from the Veysign Player Android app: a per-device activation token, heartbeat and online/offline status, app version, and (only when crash reporting is enabled for a release) crash diagnostic logs. The player app does not access personal photos, contacts, or location on the device — it only downloads and displays content assigned to it from your dashboard.
2. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
- deliver your content to your screens and keep them in sync;
- process payments and manage subscriptions;
- send transactional email such as verification, invitations, and billing notices; and
- detect, prevent, and respond to security or operational issues.
3. Analytics and advertising
If enabled, this site may use Google Analytics, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, Ahrefs Analytics, and/or Microsoft Clarity to understand aggregate traffic and measure ad performance. These are off by default: they only load after you click "Accept" on the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time via "Cookie preferences" in the footer. We do not use these tools inside the authenticated dashboard.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the Service (such as our payment processor, email delivery provider, and cloud infrastructure), and where required by law. Media URLs delivered to players may be served from a content-delivery network.
5. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes. You can delete your organization and its content from your account settings.
6. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted transport, scoped access controls, and audit logging of administrative actions. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You can exercise many of these directly in the app, or contact us for assistance.
8. Children
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email.
10. Contact
Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to [email protected].
